India’s men’s kabaddi team defeated Iran 40–34 in the final to retain the Asian Games gold medal.
Led by captain Sunil Kumar, India maintained their unbeaten run and secured another Asian Games kabaddi title.
India’s women defeated Iran 37–34 in the final, successfully defending their Asian Games kabaddi gold.
Both Indian kabaddi teams finished on top at Aichi-Nagoya 2026, repeating their gold-medal success from Hangzhou 2022.
India once again demonstrated its dominance in Asian Games kabaddi, with both men and women lifting the coveted gold medals.
