The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the deadline for the second season of the Women's Premier League. This league is likely to be played between 22 February and 17 March next year. It is being told that this information has been given by BCCI to the five franchises of the Women's Premier League.
However, no official announcement has been made by BCCI in this regard. The complete schedule of this league can be revealed in January. However, there is also a possibility that this time the Women's Premier League matches may be played in different cities instead of one. In the last season, all the matches were played in Mumbai only.
This time, Women's Premier League matches can be played in Mumbai as well as Bengaluru. However, this information has not been confirmed yet. Gujarat Giants team mentor Mithali Raj had said on Saturday that she would like to see the league organized at multiple locations instead of concentrating it at one place.
