Every year, World Cider Day 2026 is observed on June 3 around the globe to celebrate delicious drink of apple cider that has become popular spreading far.
Cider is an alcohol beverage with 3 pct to 8.5 pct alcohol content, made from fermented juice of apples, and traces its history to 55 BC in Egypt, Greece, Rome.
The origin of the day is in Germany where it was first started by Association of Apple Wine and Fruit Juice Press Houses in Hesse, and celebrated since 2013.
While World Cider Day is observed on June 3, National Apple Cider Day is also observed on November 18 in the US, and gives people an opportunity to celebrate it.
Over the years, ciders have become very popular in India, and in Mumbai they are available at several taprooms that also serves a mango cider.
