On the 9 days of Navratri, Goddess Durga is worshipped with great rituals. But many times it happens that women get their menstrual period in the middle of Navratri.
In such a situation, questions arise in the minds of women whether to fast for Navratri or not.
If the periods are already going on before Navratri, then you can fast for Navratri from the Panchami date.
If the period comes on the first day of fasting, then keep fasting. But do not worship.
Worship the fast with your husband or any family member. You can mentally engage in the worship.
If the periods come in the middle of Navratri, do not fast completely and fast only on the first and last day.
If the period falls during Kanya Pujan during Navratri, then do this too with a family member.
Also, recite Goddess Durga Saptshati from mobile phone during the period.
