You’ve heard of the Bermuda Triangle on Earth. But did you know space has one too?
It’s called the South Atlantic Anomaly. This strange area sits above South America and the Atlantic Ocean.
Just like the one on Earth, strange things happen here. Satellites and spacecraft can get scrambled as they pass through it.
When astronauts fly through this area, they don’t do spacewalks.
Satellites passing through may lose data or stop working for a bit. It’s like flying through a space storm.
The Earth's magnetic field is weaker in this zone. That’s why space radiation can sneak in.
This “triangle” doesn’t stay still. It slowly shifts over time, making it even harder to predict.
It might sound like science fiction. But it’s 100% real, and scientists are still studying it.
