Top Indian batsmen with the fastest fifties in T20Is

Yuvraj Singh still holds the record for the fastest half-century by an Indian batsman in T20 Internationals. He scored 50 runs off just 12 balls against England in 2008.

Abhishek Sharma has now moved to second place on this list. He completed his half-century in just 14 balls against New Zealand on January 25, 2026.

Hardik Pandya scored 50 runs in just 16 balls against South Africa in 2005.

Abhishek Sharma had previously scored a half-century off 17 balls against England in 2025.

KL Rahul scored a half-century in 18 balls against Scotland in a T20 International match in 2021.

Suryakumar Yadav also completed his half-century in just 18 balls against South Africa in 2022.
