The Aussie pacer produced a 4/33 spell in his 36th IPL fixture.
The haul also made Hazlewood the joint-fifth fastest to reach 50 IPL wickets.
He joins former New Zealand bowler Mitchell McClenaghan, who achieved the feat in 2016.
Kagiso Rabada is the fastest to take 50 IPL wickets, doing so in 27 games.
Rabada achieved the feat in 2020 by dismissing Faf du Plessis in Sharjah.
In 2nd place, we have Kolkata Knight Riders veteran Sunil Narine with 50 wickets in 32 games.
Sri Lanka icon Lasith Malinga ranks 3rd on this list, taking 50 scalps in 33 fixtures.
In fourth place, we have Khaleel Ahmed, who secured 50 IPL wickets in 35 games.
Joining Khaleel is South Africa legend Imran Tahir, with 50 IPL scalps in 35 matches.
