The schedule of T20 World Cup 2024 has been announced. The Indian team will face Ireland in the first match on June 5.
However, who will take command of Team India in this mega event remains a big question.
Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra also believes that Rohit will be the captain of Team India in the T20 World Cup.
He said, “Hardik Pandya probably will not be the captain because he has fitness issues. You are not playing right now.
You will not be a part of the team in the series against Afghanistan and you did not even play Test matches.
“I think only Rohit Sharma will be seen captaining in T-20 International and T-20 World Cup 2024.
