Rishabh Pant is returning to Delhi Capitals for IPL 2027 after spending two seasons with Lucknow Super Giants
Pant will rejoin Delhi Capitals for ₹15 crore, taking a massive ₹12 crore pay cut from his previous ₹27 crore contract.
Lucknow Super Giants signed Pant for ₹27 crore at the IPL 2025 mega auction, making him the most expensive player in IPL auction history.
As part of the blockbuster trade, Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav moves from Delhi Capitals to Lucknow Super Giants at his existing ₹13.5 crore fee.
Pant previously represented Delhi Capitals from 2016 to 2024, playing 111 matches and captaining the franchise for four seasons.
