Ranveer Singh is seeking an unconditional apology in the Kantara mimicry controversy.
The actor will file an affidavit on April 10, 2026, to address the issue.
His counsel said a visit to Chamundi Temple is being considered as part of this step.
The controversy started after Ranveer’s mimicry of a Daiva scene from Kantara.
An FIR was filed against him alleged hurt sentiments of the Kannadiga community.
In February, Ranveer approached the Karnataka High Court seeking relief.
The court granted interim protection and asked authorities to avoid coercive action.
Earlier, Ranveer had also shared an apology to address the trolling at the time.
“I have always deeply respected every culture,” he wrote on Instagram stories.
Complainant Prashanth Methal later said his apology lacked sincerity.
