Radhika's ordeal

Radhika did not name any filmmaker, but she revealed that during the making of a film, she was asked to wear padding on her breasts and hips.

In a conversation via screen, Radhika said, 'I did some South Indian films simply because I desperately needed the money. Excellent cinema is also made in South India.'

I'm not judging the entire industry, because there's amazing work being done in every industry. But my experience in some of the films I've worked on has been very bad.

I remember that while shooting a film in a small town, I realized that I was the only woman on the entire set.

I was told to add more padding to my hips and breasts. They kept saying, 'We need more padding, ma'am.' I was wondering, how much more padding do they need?

How much padding can you add to a person's figure? But Radhika refused, saying, 'Tell the director that there will be no padding.'

She continued, 'I was the only woman. I had no manager, no agent. The entire team was made up of men. That's when I realized, 'Oh my God, something is wrong here.'

Radhika Apte has worked in Tamil films like 'All in All Azhagu Raja', 'Vetri Selvan', and 'Kabali'. She has also acted in the Telugu film 'Legend'.
