Delhi Capitals are all set to face Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next IPL 2025 match.
In this game, DC batter KL Rahul will aim to surpass Virat Kohli in an elite list of batters.
Rahul, who has currently scored 7957 runs from 222 innings in T20s, needs 43 runs more to complete his 8,000 runs.
If he completes his 8,000 runs, then he will surpass Kohli to become the fastest Indian to achieve the feat.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru star batter Kohli completed his 8,000 T20 runs in 243 innings.
Apart from Kohli, only Shikhar Dhawan in the other Indian who has achieved this feat. He achieved it in 277 innings.
