RCB`s Tim David has been fined 30 per cent of his match fee and handed two demerit points for breaching the IPL`s Code of Conduct during match against MI.
He was found guilty of violating Article 2.6 of the Code of Conduct, which pertains to using a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting.
The league further confirmed that David admitted to the offence and accepted the sanction imposed by match referee Amit Sharma.
Later, the Royal Challengers emerged victorious by two wickets against the Paltan in new Raipur.
Following the win, the Rajat Patidar-led men are placed at the top of the points table with 14 points.
