IPL 2024 BCCI Secretary Jai Shah is working hard to organize IPL in India.
The 16th season of IPL will be organized from March 22 this year, while the second season of WPL will start from the end of February.
According to sources, during the phase when Lok Sabha elections will be held in the IPL hosting cities, the matches there will be held at other venues.
In this manner, BCCI is planning to organize the match.
There will be no problem in providing security personnel for the matches during the elections.
In 2009, IPL commissioner was Lalit Modi and then the entire tournament was held in South Africa.
The first 20 matches in 2014 were held in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah in the UAE. The remaining matches were held in India after the elections were held on 2 May.
The second season of WPL will be organized this time in two cities. This time WPL matches will be played in Delhi and Bengaluru.
Last year, all the matches of WPL were played in Mumbai, in which Mumbai Indians team became the winner.
