India won the 3-match series 1-0; 1 Win, 2 Draws. The venues were Lord’s, Trent Bridge, and The Oval.
1st Test at Lord’s ended in a draw, saved by MS Dhoni’s 76*.
India won the 2nd Test at Trent Bridge by 7 wickets. Zaheer Khan starred with 9 wickets.
3rd Test (The Oval): Drawn – Anil Kumble scored his only Test century.
Zaheer Khan – 18 wickets across 3 Tests.
This was India’s first Test series win in England since 1986.
