Kashmiri Noon Chai is a traditional tea made using special green tea leaves.
Known for its unique pink colour, it delivers a soothing and comforting taste.
2 teaspoons green tea leaves, 4 cups water and 2 cups milk.
1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 tablespoon baking soda.
Place a pan over a medium flame and boil 2 cups of water.
Add green tea leaves, baking soda and salt. Whisk well.
Pour in the remaining water and let it boil.
Once the tea has reduced to half its quantity, add milk and cook for a few seconds.
After 2–3 boils, strain the tea and serve it hot.
