Ingredients

3 1/2 cups grated coconut, 1 cup granulated sugar, 1 cup milk1/2 cardamom powder.Getty Images

Step 1

To begin with this traditional recipe, break open the coconuts and remove the water. Grate the coconut and gather 3 ½ cups of coconut flakes.Getty Images

You can also grind sugar and coconut and then take it out and mix it well. Kneading it with your hands will make the mixture smooth.Getty Images
