These days a statement of BCCI Secretary Jai Shah is going viral. They have made it mandatory for players to play domestic tournaments to play international cricket.
Along with this, to play IPL, some Ranji Trophy matches may also have to be played. BCCI is angry with Ishan Kishan for not playing Ranji and preparing directly for IPL.
A player gets Rs 1.5 lakh for a match in Ranji. Seven group matches are played in this. Add three match fees for players playing quarter final, semi final and final.
A player gets Rs 50 thousand for a match of Vijay Hazare. There are seven group matches in this also. The total amount of those who played three knockout matches increases further
For one match of Syed Mushtaq, a player gets Rs 35 thousand. Apart from seven group matches, the salary of those who play three knockout matches increases further.
