Born in India, 58-year-old Shailesh Jejurikar studied at Hyderabad Public School alongside Satya Nadella, building early ties with future global leaders.
Shailesh Jejurikar graduated from Elphinstone College, Mumbai, and earned an MBA from IIM Lucknow, building a strong academic foundation for his corporate journey.
Shailesh Jejurikar began his journey with P&G in 1989 as an Assistant Brand Manager in India, marking the start of a remarkable 35-year career with the global consumer goods giant.
Shailesh Jejurikar advanced from brand management roles in India and East Africa to heading P&G’s global fabric care operations, demonstrating remarkable versatility and leadership.
In 2014, Shailesh Jejurikar joined P&G’s Global Leadership Team and rose to Chief Operating Officer in 2021, overseeing critical operations worldwide.
Shailesh Jejurikar held key leadership roles at P&G, including Marketing Director across multiple regions, Vice President of Home Care (2010), and President of Global Fabric & Home Care (2018).
Shailesh Jejurikar oversaw Fabric & Home Care operations across ASEAN, Australia, India, and Korea-Singapore, successfully driving growth in diverse international markets.
As CEO, Jejurikar will drive P&G’s global growth, overseeing iconic brands like Gillette and Pampers in a highly competitive market.
Shailesh Jejurikar joins the elite league of Indian-origin CEOs like Sundar Pichai and Satya Nadella, who lead global giants such as Alphabet, Microsoft, and Adobe.
