Luka Modric became the first Croatian and only the fourth player in men`s football history to reach 200 international appearances.
He achieved the feat during Croatia`s FIFA World Cup 2026 match against Panama.
Modric, who captained Croatia to the FIFA World Cup final in 2018, made his senior international debut on June 1.
He has joined the legendary list, which is dominated by Portugal`s Cristiano Ronaldo, Kuwait`s Bader Al-Mutawa, and Argentina`s Lionel Messi.
Croatia will clash against Ghana in the next fixture of the global event on June 28 at the Philadelphia Stadium in Pennsylvania.
