On World Liver Day, doctors across India warned that liver problems are rising among young people with more cases seen in people in their 20s and 30s, the PTI reported.
Recent medical studies have highlighted lifestyle habits are impacting liver health. Energy drinks, alcohol, and sugary beverages are creating a “perfect storm”.
High levels of niacin (Vitamin B3) in energy drinks can damage the liver. Excess intake can be toxic.
Caffeine, taurine, and additives put extra stress on the liver. Your liver has to process it all.
Linked to fatty liver, inflammation, and even cirrhosis, damage can worsen over time.
Mixing energy drinks with alcohol increases liver toxicity – a risky and growing habit.
Early action can prevent serious damage. Cut down processed drinks, avoid mixing with alcohol, eat healthy, stay active.
