Every year, Earth Hour is observed on March 28 every year to raise awareness about climate change and the Earth for one hour by switching everything off.
Earth Hour is being observed on March 28 from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm across the world in your own country to mark the importance of the day to create awareness.
The day was started by the World Wildlife Fund in 2007 in Sydney in Australia, and is celebrating 20 years this year, for the observation.
The day particularly highlights that all it takes is just one hour of the day to switch off everything including lights and even devices to make a difference.
In Mumbai, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus building switched off all non-essential lights to mark the day along with many other cities around the world.
