After defeating Belgium in the quarter-finals, he wrote the script to remain unbeaten in the 36th consecutive match.
Spain played these 36 matches between 2024 and 2026. That means he is now one step away from Italy's world record of 37 matches between 2018 and 2021.
Spain has corrected its previous record by playing 36 consecutive matches without losing. He played 35 matches without losing between 2007-2009.
Argentina also played 36 consecutive matches without losing between 2019 and 2022.
Brazil played 35 matches without losing between 1993-1996.
