Bruno Fernandes equalled the PL record for the most assists in a season after registering his 20th of the campaign in his team`s 3-2 win over Forest.
The record-equalling moment came in the 76th minute when his cross was turned in by Bryan Mbeumo at Old Trafford.
It looked it Fernandes might break the record as United attacked, but woodwork and last-ditch defending from Forest prevented him from getting the 21st assist.
Bruno has now levelled the record jointly held by Arsenal`s Thierry Henry (2002-03) and Manchester City`s Kevin De Bruyne (2019-20).
Bruno Fernandes will now attempt to break the record in United`s last game of the season, away to Brighton.
