The Asian Games 2026 cricket schedule has been tweaked, changing the roadmap for Shreyas Iyer-led Team India.
India will begin its men’s cricket campaign on September 28, entering directly at the quarter-final stage.
Shreyas Iyer’s team will meet the second-placed side from Group A, featuring Afghanistan, Japan and Nepal.
If India advances, the semi-finals are scheduled for October 1, followed by the bronze-medal match and final on October 3.
India enter the tournament as defending men’s and women’s champions after winning both cricket gold medals at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games.
