Jyoti Amge was born on 16th December 1993 in Nagpur, India.
Jyoti grew like other children until the age of five.
After that, her growth slowed due to a medical disorder.
The world first noticed her in 2009 on Fuji TV’s Bikkuri Chojin 100 Special No.2.
Doctors measured her at just 61.95 cm (2 ft) tall.
At that time, she weighed only 5.4 kg (12 lb)- just 4 kg more than at birth.
Later in 2009, she appeared in a video for a song by Bhangra star Mika Singh.
She has held the Guinness World Record for the shortest living woman for over 10 years.
