The record for the slowest century in Test cricket history is held by Pakistan's Mudassar Nazar, who scored a century off 557 balls against England in 1977.

2. Jackie McGlew

South Africa's Jackie McGlew scored a century in 545 balls against Australia in 1957.

3. Asanka Gurusingha

Sri Lanka's Asanka Gurusinha completed his century in 535 balls against Zimbabwe in 1994.

4. Jeff Crowe

New Zealand's Jeff Crowe completed a century in 516 balls against Sri Lanka in 1986.

5. Sanjay Manjrekar

India's Sanjay Manjrekar scored a century in 500 balls against Zimbabwe in 1992 and is at 5th place in the list.
