Mohammed Shami has been ruled out of IPL 2024 due to injury and subsequent recovery process. Any one of these players will get a chance in place of Mohammed Shami.
Ishan Porel has played one IPL match and has taken one wicket for 39 runs. He also remained unsold in the IPL 2024 auction.
Kamlesh Nagarkoti has played 25 T20 matches so far and has taken 19 wickets. However his results in the shorter formats are not particularly impressive.
Varun Aaron played 18 matches for India and took 29 wickets. He has also played 52 IPL matches and taken 44 wickets with a best performance of 3/16.
