Team India's star batsman Shubman Gill will now be seen taking charge of Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024. Gujarat Titans have taken this big decision after Hardik Pandya joined Mumbai Indians.

Who is the captain of Gujarat Titans?: Shubman Gill won the Orange Cap by scoring the most runs in IPL 2023. Gill had scored 890 runs in 17 matches at an excellent average of 59.33. Kane Williamson was also in the race to become the captain of Gujarat, but keeping the future in mind, the franchise has made young Indian player Shubman Gill the captain.
24-year-old Shubhman Gill made his debut for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2018. Gill has played 91 matches so far in his IPL career, in which he has scored 2790 runs with his bat at an average of 37.70. During this period, Gill has scored 3 centuries and 18 half-centuries. His highest score was 129. Gill has hit 273 fours and 80 sixes with his bat. Whereas the Gujarat franchise had signed him for Rs 8 crore before the IPL 2023 auction.

Our two seasons of IPL have been amazing. Gujarat Titans participated in the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, Gujarat team was successful in winning the IPL title in the debut season. Whereas in IPL 2023, Gujarat team was the runner-up.
