Javagal Srinath participated in a total of 4 World Cup seasons in his cricket career, but he could not lead India to the title under his captaincy. He took a total of 44 wickets in 34 matches. He gave his all in the World Cup, but still he did not get success.
Anil Kumble played the ODI World Cup a total of 4 times in his career from 1996 to 2007, but could not make India the world champion even once. The former Indian spinner had taken 31 wickets in a total of 18 matches.
