IPL 2024: LKN vs PBKS Previous Match Records in Lucknow

Lucknow Super Giants have played only one match so far this season.

Punjab Kings (PBKS) will face Lucknow Super Giants (LKN) in the 11th match of IPL 2024. This match will be played on March 30 at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Punjab has played two matches this season. In the first match, they won against Delhi Capitals (DC) by four wickets. However, Punjab had to face defeat against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the second match.

On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants have played only one match so far, in which they lost by 20 runs against Rajasthan Royals. LSG will now look to open their account in the tournament with a win against Punjab Kings.

Talking about head-to-head matches, there have been three matches between the two teams so far, out of which Lucknow has won two matches, while Punjab has won one. The last time LSG and PBKS clashed in Lucknow was in April 2023.

Punjab captain Shikhar Dhawan could not play in that match due to injury. So Sam Curran led the team and won the toss and invited Lucknow to bat first. Batting first, LSG scored a total of 159 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. KL Rahul played an inning of 74 runs in 56 balls. Sam Curran took 3 wickets for Punjab, while Kagiso Rabada took two wickets.

In response, Punjab Kings achieved the target by scoring 161 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 19.3 overs. Although there was a wobble at one point, but in the end Sikandar Raza played an excellent innings and gave Punjab victory by 2 wickets. Sikandar Raza scored 57 runs on 41 balls for the team, for which he was chosen player of the match. Whereas Matthew Short played an inning of 34 runs in 22 balls.
