For Delhi, debutant Jake Fraser McGurk scored 55 runs in 35 balls and captain Rishabh Pant scored 41 runs in 24 balls. During this, Pant made a special record in his name by scoring nine runs. He completed three thousand runs in IPL. He became the 25th player in the world to do so. With this he became the third youngest player to complete three thousand IPL runs.

Pant achieved this feat at the age of 26 years and 191 days. If he had achieved this feat six days earlier i.e. on April 7 against Mumbai Indians, he would have broken the record of Virat Kohli, who was in second place. Virat had completed three thousand runs at the age of 26 years and 186 days. Shubhman Gill is at number one. He completed three thousand runs in IPL at the age of 24 years and 215 days.

Pant left Sanju Samson and Suresh Raina behind in this matter. Samson had completed three thousand runs at the age of 26 years and 320 days. Whereas, Raina had achieved this feat at the age of 27 years and 161 days. Pant's strike rate is the third best among the 25 players who have completed three thousand runs in IPL. Pant's current strike rate in IPL is 148.55. At the same time, only AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle are ahead of him in this matter. De Villiers has a strike rate of 151.68 and Gayle has a strike rate of 148.96 in IPL.

Pant hit four fours and two sixes in his 41-run innings against Lucknow. At the same time, Jake Fraser played an inning of 55 runs in 35 balls with the help of two fours and five sixes. Fraser is only 22 years old and is a player from South Australia. He was considered to be the next big player in IPL and he proved himself by playing such innings on debut. Earlier, Lucknow had scored 167 runs after losing seven wickets in 20 overs. Ayush Badoni played an inning of 55 runs in 35 balls. At the same time, captain KL Rahul had scored 39 runs in 22 balls. Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets.

This was Delhi's second win in six matches. With this victory the team moved to ninth position in the points table. At the same time, Lucknow team has fallen to fourth place. Delhi's next match is against Gujarat Titans on 17th April, while Lucknow team will face Kolkata Knight Riders on 14th April.
