UP Police Constable Admit Card 2024, Exam dates announced : UP Police Constable Recruitment selection process is done in three stages, which are as follows
Written exam
- Type of Exam – Objective
- Paper- 4 papers
- Number of questions- 150 questions
- Marking- +2 marks
- Negative Marking- 0.25 for wrong answer
- Subjects with marks- General Hindi (74 marks), General Science (76 marks), Mental Ability Test or Intelligence Quotient Test or Reasoning (74 marks), Numerical and Mental Ability Test (76 marks)
PET, Physical Efficiency Test
- Female- 2.4 km distance in 14 minutes
- Male- Cover distance of 4.8 km in 25 minutes
PMT, Physical Measurement Test
- Male – Height 168 cm, Chest Measurement 84 cm with expansion
- Female – Minimum height 152 cm and weight 40 kg
UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam Date 2024
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPPPB) has announced the exam dates for UP Police Constable Recruitment 2023. As per the schedule, the direct recruitment exam for police constables will be held on February 17 and 18, 2024.
UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam Pattern
UP Police Recruitment Board will conduct the written examination in 2024 to select the eligible candidates for the post of constable. There will be 150 objective-type questions in the exam. Each question is of 2 marks. 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong question attempted by the candidate. The candidate will get 2 hours to attempt UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2024
UP police constable salary
Under the UP Police Constable Recruitment process, selected candidates are appointed to the post of Constable and get a salary of Rs 21,700 in the pay band Matric Pay Rs 5200 to Rs 20,200. They get a grade pay of 2000 as per UP Police Salary 2023. This pay rate for the post of constable is decided by the UP Police Board Recruitment and Promotion Board as per the 7th Pay Commission.
