New credit card rules: Do you have HDFC, Axis, and ICICI credit cards?: Many big banks have made changes in their credit card rules and offers. HDFC has changed the airport lounge benefit rules on two of its credit cards. SBI Card, ICICI Bank, and Axis Bank have also changed the credit card rules.

HDFC Bank credit card
HDFC Bank has made some changes in the rules of its two popular credit cards, Regalia and Millenia credit cards. These changes are effective from December 1, 2023.
Changes in lounge access on HDFC Bank Regalia Credit Card
- Your lounge access program will be based on your credit card spending.
- Spend Rs 1 lakh or more in a calendar quarter (January-March/April-June/July-September/October-December).
- On meeting the spend criteria, go to the Regalia SmartBuy page, from there go to Lounge Benefits, then to Lounge Access Voucher.
- You can now avail a maximum of 2 free lounge access vouchers.
HDFC Bank Millenia Credit Card
- Your lounge access program will be based on your credit card spending.
- Spend Rs 1 lakh or more in a calendar quarter (January-March/April-June/July-September/October-December).
- On completing the spending criteria you will receive an SMS with a link to the Millennia Milestone page. From there you can select the lounge access voucher.
- You can avail of a maximum of 1 free lounge access voucher as a part of quarterly milestone benefits.
SBI Card
According to the SBI Card website, cashback for rent payment transactions on your Paytm SBI Credit Card has been discontinued from January 1, 2024. The 10X reward point accrual of SimpleClick/SimpleClick Advantage SBI Card for easyDiner online purchases is now 5X reward points from November 1, 2023. 10X reward points will still be added to your card for online purchases made at Apollo 24x7, BookMyShow, Cleartrip, Dominos, Myntra, Netmeds, and Yatra.
Changes in Axis Bank credit card rules (Axis Bank credit card rule)
Recently Axis Bank has made some important changes for its credit cardholders. The bank has made changes in the benefits, annual fees, and joining gifts of the Axis Bank Magnus Credit Card. The bank has also revised the terms and conditions of the Axis Bank Reserve Credit Card.
ICICI Bank credit card rules
ICICI Bank cardholders will soon see significant changes in airport lounge access benefits for 21 credit cards and reward point rules for several other cards. According to the ICICI Bank website, from April 1, 2024, you can get complimentary airport lounge access by spending Rs 35,000 in the previous calendar quarter. You can unlock complimentary airport lounge benefit for the next quarter by spending Rs 35,000 on the credit card in the previous calendar quarter.
